A small percentage of Livedrive users are using old insecure browsers to access Livedrive. In common with major banks and other notable web sites, these browsers will soon be unable to access Livedrive. It is in the interests of all users to update to a secure browser and keep all your personal information safe, including your files on Livedrive.
Because of this, Livedrive is making some changes to their portal. From 19th November 2015 onwards, the portal will only support browsers which have TLS 1.2 or higher.
If you are using an old unsupported browser you will now see an information box when you log into the web portal. This will inform you that you are using an old browser, and provide you with links to download the latest version of Chrome or Firefox. If you do not upgrade then you will no longer be able to access your Livedrive account through your internet browser after 19th November 2015.
If you are using newer browsers, then you will not see this information box when you log into your portal and you will not need to make any changes.
There is a full breakdown of which browsers support ‘TLS 1.2’ here.
That is all!
